Dugraf Digital sells Latin America's first Dantex Picojet 1200S HYBRID press
Dugraf Digital is delighted to confirm the sale of the first six-color Dantex Picojet 1200S Hybrid press in Brazil - a worldwide launch by the British manufacturer. The equipment was purchased by a traditional Flexo converter in the Southeast and will be in production in the first half of 2023. https://dantex.com/picojet-1200s-hybrid/
This is one of our customer's biggest investments, and they will soon be able to transfer more than 50% of their analog modular Flexo production to the Picojet. The Picojet 1200S Hybrid has a digital flexo concept and produces micro, small and medium Flexo UV runs in any variety of models / SKUs in the same service - with or without inline annealing and without variable data limits.
The first Picojet 1200S Hybrid in Latin America will be installed in the most complete version, with the following technical specifications:
- 330 mm of usable print area - between 110 mm and 350 mm of raw material without bandwidth restrictions
- 75 linear meters per minute - no speed reduction regardless of the number of colors
- 6 colors with highly durable industrial UV Inkjet printheads and LED drying in all colors (very low energy consumption, maximum print quality and perfect ink drying) - including orange (which allows up to 93% Pantone colors) and the exclusive Picojet Super White One Pass white ink, which has the highest opacity on the UV Inkjet market (up to 92% opacity, the closest to screen printing).
In addition, Picojet produces the complete Hybrid Flexo finish in line with Flexo UV unit for total or localized varnishing, cold foil ennobling, lamination, magnetic knife, edge cutting and slitting in up to seven positions.
Another novelty is Dantex DFE Esko: proven to be the best rip software on the digital label market, used by the biggest players in the world.
